About Katie

Katie Hauser, LCSW is a psychotherapist and clinical social worker in New York City. In addition to working as a private practice psychotherapist in Brooklyn and Manhattan, Katie has received clinical certification in LGBTQIA+ focused therapy, from the Psychotherapy Center for Gender and Sexuality at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.

Katie works closely with a variety of people in the queer, sex positive/BDSM/kink and alternative sexuality communities, and anyone seeking an open, embracing approach to psychotherapy and meaningful exploration. Katie is a professional member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), and serves on the American Psychological Association Division 44 Consensual Non-Monogamy Task Force. Katie is also a Somatic Experiencing Provider, in continued SE training working toward certification, and an EMDR provider.
