About Katie

Katie Hauser, LCSW is a psychotherapist and clinical social worker in New York City. In addition to working as a private practice psychotherapist in Brooklyn and Manhattan, Katie has received clinical certification in LGBTQIA+ focused therapy, from the Psychotherapy Center for Gender and Sexuality at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy (ICP). Katie is a Somatic Experiencing Provider, in advanced training on track toward certification. Additionally, Katie is IFS Level 1 Certified and Levels I and II trained in EMDR (via ICP).

Katie works closely with a variety of people in the queer, sex positive/BDSM/kink and alternative sexuality communities, and anyone seeking an open, embracing approach to psychotherapy and meaningful exploration. Katie is a professional member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), and serves as chair of the LGBTQIAP+ committee for the American Psychological Association Division 44 Consensual Non-Monogamy Task Force.
